    Trade & Transaction Product Owner - FinTech

    £75000 - £90000 per annum bonus and benefits
     

    Job Description

    A Global Market leading FinTech are looking for a Product Owner to work on their Trade and Transaction Reporting solution.

    Being a member of the Professional Services team, the Product Owner will drive the product vision into squad deliverables to achieve the product strategy, aligned with maximizing value to the client.

    Key duties will include gathering requirements for upcoming change (including regulatory changes) and contributing to service descriptions, as well as identifying potential risks to achieving project objectives and elevate to appropriate stakeholder groups.

    The Product Owner will also be responsible for guiding Agile squads, ensure governance is continually met, drive improvements and manage new client requests (both internal and external).

    The company currently supports regulatory trade reporting across multiple jurisdictions including all derivative asset classes and SFTs, so its important this person continues to stay updated on changes or updates to these rules.

    Requirements;

    • Knowledge of financial services operations, in particular the Trade Booking process and Regulatory Trade Reporting, focused on at least one of rules such as EMIR, ASIC, MAS, or MiFIR / MiFID II, CFTC- relevant to trade and transaction reporting.
    • Operating as a Product Owner, Business/ Change Analyst, Implementation or similar who would like to operate in a client focused position.
    • Experience in Agile/scrum methodology, and any exposure to Regulatory software is highly beneficial.

      One of our Capital Markets FinTech firms, who tackle the derivative markets complexities globally for Asset Managers, Hedge Funds, Pension Funds & Insurers, are looking to add sales seniority to their London commercial team.

      You will be covering, but not solely limited to, an EMEA territory working in a relatively small London team of 6 Sales Professionals. You will be reporting directly to the Global Cheif Revenue Officer so there will be lots of internal visibility.

      Initially joining as an senior individual contributor and having an annual target (usually between £750k - £1.2M) the aim for this hire is that the successful candidate can step into more of a Player Coach position and take mentorship over the team of new business sales and relationship management. Plan further on from that would be for the successful candidate to head EMEA Sales.

      To be considered for this position it is vital that you have enterprise software sales experience to the buy-side expertise and be used to navigating around and winning new logos in Asset Management/Fund Mamanagement/Pension Funds/Insurers/Hedge Funds space.

      You will also, ideally, have a very sound understanding capital markets derivatives domain and an appreciation of software in that space that will manage risks and improve operational efficiency.
