    Senior Account Manager - DACH

    £80000 - £85000 per annum Bonus, Benefits

    This is a Senior Account Manager position (London-based with some travel) - managing Tier 1 strategic accounts across the DACH region. The candidate will therefore ideally have business-level German-Speaking language skills - and have experience working within financial services sector.

    Initial package info:

    • Competitive compensation - circa £70-80k Basic (dependant on experience), plus performance-related bonuses totalling around a £110k p/a (uncapped)

    The impact you will have:

    Being a member of the EMEA Relationship Management team, the Senior Account Manager will pro-actively build and influence client relationships resulting in increased revenues and improved client experience/satisfaction within our managed account base.

    Clients include investment managers, broker/dealers, IMOs and custodians. They actively work with senior management, client service representatives, product, operations, integration and marketing teams to ensure deliverability for the client community. They act as Single Point of Contact (SPC) coordinating all solutions activity within the account(s) and become the point person for all client inquiries.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Act as Single Point of Contact (SPC) with Tier 1 clients and orchestrate additional activities into the account, increasing the client experience and revenue generation. Build and drive near and long-term account plans.
    • Pro-actively develop and broaden contacts and engage at senior levels within Tier 1 clients with confidence and integrity.
    • Demonstrate the capability to engage at high level strategic and operational agendas, being able to clearly articulate strategies, solutions and capabilities to clients and at industry/client events and relate them to client/industry needs.
    • Present and clearly articulate the business drivers and strategic direction of key clients internally to senior management. Work closely with Executive Directors (Sales, Product Management, etc.) Directors (Integration, Operations Management, etc.) of Key Client Program in pursuing new revenue generating activities

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree preferred

    Background:

    • Min. 5 years' experience managing relationships across a portfolio of clients in the Financial Services sector
    • High preference for fluency in German language - as this role will be the Account Lead for major customers throughout the DACH region (banks, asset managers etc)
    • Excellent communication & relationship management skills
    • Strong networking & presentation skills
    • Highly organised and efficient at managing day-to-day business with multiple competing priorities
    • Understanding of the post-trade & regulatory landscape within financial services. It's desirable if the candidate has had experience in positioning software, services, data products and/or services into financial services institutions.

      One of our Capital Markets FinTech firms, who tackle the derivative markets complexities globally for Asset Managers, Hedge Funds, Pension Funds & Insurers, are looking to add sales seniority to their London commercial team.

      You will be covering, but not solely limited to, an EMEA territory working in a relatively small London team of 6 Sales Professionals. You will be reporting directly to the Global Cheif Revenue Officer so there will be lots of internal visibility.

      Initially joining as an senior individual contributor and having an annual target (usually between £750k - £1.2M) the aim for this hire is that the successful candidate can step into more of a Player Coach position and take mentorship over the team of new business sales and relationship management. Plan further on from that would be for the successful candidate to head EMEA Sales.

      To be considered for this position it is vital that you have enterprise software sales experience to the buy-side expertise and be used to navigating around and winning new logos in Asset Management/Fund Mamanagement/Pension Funds/Insurers/Hedge Funds space.

      You will also, ideally, have a very sound understanding capital markets derivatives domain and an appreciation of software in that space that will manage risks and improve operational efficiency.
