    Data Management Applications, Support Lead - Financial Services

    £65000 - £75000 per annum bonus and benefits

    Job Description

    Sterlings are currently working with a leading Financial Services Company, who are currently seeking someone to lead their Data Management Application Support Team.

    The team is responsible for the support and maintenance of core platforms across Financial Crime, HR and Legal departments. The team investigate production incidents/problems and identify and implement solutions as well as manage and prioritise BAU change backlog with business and technology stakeholders. Other key tasks include developing and deliver high-quality application software changes to meet business requirements.

    This position will be an even split between being hands-on and leading a geographically dispersed team.

    Other duties will also include maintaining and updating system technical documents and service operation manuals, ensure IT governance, standards and procedures are adhered to and drive software releases.

    The team don't require a seasoned team leader, and will also consider individuals who are eager to make that step up, in a clearly defined position with growth potential.

    Experience Required;

    • Ideally some leadership or mentorship skills, working within a fast-paced environment
    • An understanding of Service Management, experience of resolving incidents, problems and implementing changes where required
    • Knowledge of the IT infrastructure (ie hardware, databases, operating systems, local area networks)
    • Proficient in Data analysis and ETL, SQL
    • Knowledge of software development and maintenance methods, tools and techniques.

    Please note this is a hyrid position, with three days a week in the London office.
