A Bank in the City of London, is currently seeking a Test Manager to join their EMEA Technology Team.
The Test Manager will lead the testing strategy and planning and manage testing of the whole programme. This will include validation of applications and end -user computing solutions as part of the Windows 11 and Office 365 transformation.
Key tasks include defining and implementing a test strategy, framework, and governance model for the Windows 11 andO365 transformation program, as well as develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria for business-critical applications, infrastructure, and EUC solutions.
This role will be responsible for ensuring a smooth transition by working closely with business units, IT teams, and application owners to assess compatibility, coordinate testing activities, and manage risks.
The Test Manager will oversee test planning, execution, defect resolution, and user acceptance testing (UAT) and reporting liaising closely with the dev team and project team on getting though the testing phase to ensure business continuity and minimal disruption across multiple locations.
Essential;
* Proven experience as a Test Manager leading large-scale IT transformation projects, ideally in an EMEA-wide capacity.
* Strong knowledge of Windows 11, Office 365, EUC applications, and infrastructure testing.
* Experience managing testing across multiple regions, business units, and stakeholders.
* Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, Azure DevOps).
* Strong expertise in test planning, execution, defect management, and UAT facilitation.
* Ability to work effectively in a complex, multi-national environment.
* Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and reporting skills at all levels.
This role would involve being in the London office 5 days a week.
Are you an experienced Grafana specialist? Our client is a long standing financial markets organisation. They are going through a period of transformation from legacy infrastructure to a modern devops and cloud environment.
This project is focused on producing a brand new observability platform using Grafana on Kubernetes. They are in the early stages of design so there's a good chunk of work to be done to get the platform live.
You will need solid experience of the Grafana stack as containerized microservice architecture as well as Open Telemetry and Ansible or similar products.
