ServiceNow Configuration Specialist - Financial Services
Job Description
A Bank in the City of London is currently seeking a ServiceNow Configuration Specialist to join their EMEA Technology team.
The Configuration Management Specialist will be responsible for defining and controlling configuration information for components of services and infrastructure that make Technology systems. The Configuration Management Specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate information on the planned, current and historical state of the components of services and infrastructure.
Key tasks will include helping develop and maintain the CMDB contents for accuracy, as well as defining and maintaining relationships between configuration items.
Other duties include developing and maintain ServiceNow Discovery schedules and configuration as well as collaborating with various other teams to ensure those functions are able to use CMDB information most effectively.
Experience Required;
- Managing CMDB within in a financial institution or industry that adheres strictly to audit processes and procedures
- Maintaining CMDB data using ServiceNow Discovery essential.
- Maintaining CMDB data using ServiceNow Service Mapping beneficial.
- Experience of working in a complex technical environment
- Experience of working in a highly regulated industry that adheres strictly to audit processes and procedures essential.

Java Developer (Messaging Services) - Investment Bank
A Bank in the City of London is currently seeking a Java Developer to work across their messaging systems, that underpin a number of their trading applications.
The Java developer will be involved in the design, development and maintenance of middleware solutions using Java and integration frameworks such as Apache Camel.
The team also provide robust, reliable and scalable message flows and routes, ensuring strict adherence to change control processes and the SDLC.
The Java developer will also be involved in the integration of various systems and applications using IBM MQ, as well as developing unit tests and integration tests for all changes using frameworks such as Junit and Cucumber.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of core Java (collections, concurrency, NIO, etc.)
- Experience with Java frameworks Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate
- Understanding of and experience with design patterns and OO principles
- Understanding of Apache Camel integration patterns and best practices is beneficial
- Experience of working with IBM MQ configuration, management and troubleshooting
- Experienced with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of database technologies (SQL) and ORM frameworks (Hibernate)
- Knowledge of XML, XSLT and XSD is beneficial

The main purpose of this position is to manage the technical delivery of various cybersecurity projects and contribute to the overall success of the Cybersecurity programme function by ensuring that projects are delivered according to scope, on time and within budget, as well as assisting the programme manager by providing programme support activities.
This person will be involved in managing cybersecurity technology projects such as implementation of DLP, Cyber infrastructure replacement, Cloud monitoring tools etc.
The wider department covers cyber security strategy maintenance and tactical planning and operations to provide IT Security protection, governance, risk management and reporting.
Requirements:

* Experience in managing cybersecurity technology projects such as implementation of DLP, Cyber infrastructure replacement, Cloud monitoring tools etc.
* Demonstrable proficiency in a wide range of information IT security technologies and embedded security; at the minimum knowledge must cover key cybersecurity domains such as Identity and Access Management, Threat Intelligence, Risk Evaluation, Security Assessment/Testing, Incidence Management and Vendor/Cloud products assessment
* Possessing high level of analytical ability where problems are typically unusual and difficult
